OziShield - Paint
Protection using
3M Paint Protection Film
Sick of stonechips, bugs and road
debris
ruining your precious paintwork? Want to
keep your original paintwork, um...
original? Well,
Paint Protection Film is the most advanced
technology to preserve your painted surfaces.
This is not a spray-on or wipe-on
product, but a genuine
computer-cut film that is applied to
the paintwork. The film has a special
adhesive so that it can be removed without
damaging your paintwork. It's
practically invisible and doesn't
change the colour, shape or aerodynamics of
your vehicle.
Suitable for cars, motorbikes, 4x4s,
boats, bicycles, headlights and dozens of
applications.
Used by NASCAR, F1 and V8 Supercars teams
and
installed on over 1,000,000 cars in the
USA and Europe, and at least 6,000 cars here
in Australia.
Stonechips! - we hate them! Get
protected, get out on the road, and enjoy
yourself.
Here's the fine print that you won't
find on any other website. No one else wants to talk
about it, but we want to let you know up front. Please
read it. We will not install film on your vehicle unless
you acknowledge these terms and agree to them in writing
prior to the installation of the film.
Damage to the film:
All Paint Protection Films can be damaged by
stones, chemicals, road debris, bugs, bird poo,
acid rain, scratches and contact with other
objects, such as cars, walls, etc. These films
can also discolour and lose their gloss over
time. The film is there to help protect your
paint.
OziShield will not
replace the film or refund you if the film
gets damaged in any circumstance, or
discolours or loses its gloss. These events
are out of our control.
Damage to your
vehicle:
All Paint
Protection Films can be penetrated by
foreign objects, such as stones, road
debris, other cars, walls, etc. The film can
be hit hard enough to deform your bodywork,
sometimes without damaging the film or the
paintwork. Even protected headlights and
spotlights can be cracked.
OziShield will not be responsible for
any damage to your paintwork or any part of
your vehicle including lights. These events
are out of our control.
To sum up:
OziShield does not
provide any warranty against damage to your film or
damage to your vehicle. 3M provides a limited warranty
(5 years) against manufacturing defects and that the
film will not crack or lift off prematurely. No films
are guaranteed for life anymore.
What is
Paint Protection Film?
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a clear
polyurethane film that is used to protect
the paint finish on a vehicle's impact
zones, such as the leading edge of the
bonnet and the bumper. This near-invisible
film is strong and durable, providing
protection from
nicks, stone chips, abrasions, bugs and
bumper scuffs. Paint Protection Film can
also be used to protect headlights from
cracks, scratches, chips, yellowing and
hazing. The film can also be used to protect
other areas such as door steps, top of rear
bumper, wheel arches, door edges and so on.
Go into most new car showrooms and you
will see PPF applied to heaps of new models.
Some of the car manufacturers who install
PPF to protect their models include Aston
Martin, Audi, BMW, Citroen, Ferrari, Ford,
Holden, Land Rover, Lotus, Maserati,
Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Morgan, Nissan,
Porsche, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen
and Volvo. But don't expect to see it on
their bonnets or bumper, as they only put it
near the rear wheels to stop stonechip
damage in those areas. So they obviously
think it works ok. So do we.
Worried about what it looks like??
Here are some examples of work that we've
done. Unfortunately, we can't show you all
of the hundreds and hundreds of cars,
motorbikes, and other things that we've
done.
Interested?
We have hundreds of products to choose from, some of
them need to be professionally installed (we'll do that
for you), or you might like to try some DIY products.
Either way, you are taking the first steps towards
keeping your vehicle in great shape.
